Job Description: Cerner India is seeking to hire a Technical Project Manager to work on Soarian Clinicals solution. In this role, the main responsibility is to plans, coordinates, and monitors software and system projects from initiation through delivery.

Key Areas of Responsibilities: The Technical Project Manager key responsibilities are,

  • Responsible to facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.

  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.

  • Manages multiple, specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end.

  • Provides timely and on-going communication to appropriate stakeholders.

  • Good communication and collaboration within the team and across modules.

  • Needs to be expert in estimation and planning. Knows how to create useful, reliable and practical plans for software development projects.

  • Should be a good coach in Agile practices.

  • Ability to ensure the correct use of scrum process.

  • Ability to track and remove impediments.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.

  • Good skills to coach team how to follow agile scrum.

  • Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.

  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.

  • Should have Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories.

  • Ability to take and understand his commitment to deliver the product on time.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors of Science degree with a technical major (CS, MIS, IS, CIS, etc.) or equivalent industry experience.

  • Previous experience in a technical role.

  • Worked on an agile development environment and previous Project Management experience.

  • Demonstrated Leadership ability and be Proactive and self-motivated.

  • Very good organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent English skills, written and verbal, from both business and technical perspectives.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
