Job Description

As a member of the Commercial Fleet (CF) Global Business Development team, the Business Development Advisor for India will act as a dedicated, full-time resource to drive forward the development of a Commercial Fleet business in India. The role will include analyzing the Indian market for B2B fuel payment and mobility services, articulating B2B customer needs, defining relevant CVPs and leading the development and implementation of adequate solutions in market.

The Business Development Advisor for India will be working on all activities required to launch a successful B2B fuel payment and mobility business in India, which makes strong project management skills a distinct advantage when applying for this role.

Special Challenges:

  • Strong track record in project management and experience in commercial delivery

  • Develop a good understanding of the B2B customer needs in India

  • Ability to leverage B2B card systems and processes expertise acquired by Commercial Fleet in other markets

  • Act as B2B Subject Matter Expert within Retail India organisation

  • Given the nature of this role with a line manager based in another country, the successful candidate must be able to work independently and pro-actively without daily supervision


High-potential professional with relevant university degree/master (MBA a bonus).

Minimum 5 years' work experience preferably in a similar role.

Project Management experience and stakeholder management required.

Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, good communication skills, solid knowledge of Excel and project management tools are a distinct advantage.

Work experience in a B2B business environment is preferred. However, we do not exclude the possibility that outstanding candidates without this experience could be selected if they bring the drive and motivation required

  • Some travel may be required (less than 30%)
