PSS Life Cycle Marketing Manager (Enterprise Solutions Manager)

Job Description:

Manages the product/services/solution (PSS) life cycle. From an understanding of customer needs/insights, provides initial product/service/solution design, pricing, value proposition, messaging and/or whole product strategies (packaging, warranty, service, support), as well as forecasting through product introduction. Regional product marketing includes actual forecasting, inventory strategy and forecasting, actual pricing and price promotions/discounting, technical support and ultimately the obsolescence and end-of-life of the PSS. Both regional and global roles regularly work with the sales force, customers, and partners to accelerate sales process. Applies market and customer insights on customer experience requirements and brand loyalty to define the PSS experience requirements across all PSS components of the customer life cycle. Represents the voice of the customer with respect to PSS development/pricing, launch, refresh and obsolescence.

Candidate will develop long term solutions portfolio strategy.

  • Understand the emerging industry and technology trends of enterprise server market needs by conducting market research. Map it to existing technologies.

  • Work with technology SMEs to develop a long term roadmap of server platform and applications technology transitions.

  • Develop a business case to influence the changes and get approval from the executive leadership team.

  • Create portfolio MRD that product managers will further refine for implementation. Influence roadmap changes to address disruptive technology additions.

  • Develop portfolio comparison against competition.

  • Healthcare and/or FSI industry knowledge is desired.

Responsibilities: Global:

  • Drive the definition of a single product/service solution (PSS)through R&D and solutions teams.

  • Define appropriate PSS prior to introduction.

  • Provide closed-loop post- analysis of PSS strategies/ roadmaps/platforms/SKUs.

  • Aid the sales efforts to end users and partners.


  • Determine and lead an appropriate product/ service/solution introduction process to assure an effective launch within the region.

  • Provide ongoing forecasting to assure sufficient product is available.

  • Optimize amount/ utilization of alliance and other partner funds (specials, pricing, price promotions).

  • Work with sales and manufacturing to lead the PSS obsolescence process for the region.

Education and Experience Required:

  • MBA in Marketing/Business/ Technical.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience as a product manager

    • Strong leadership and teamwork skills

    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
