Responsibilities:• Work closely with the product development team to develop proposed ETL designs.• Able to independently analyze requirements and come up with a sound and sustainable design.• Work on projects focused on continuous improvement of the application support model and associated processes using appropriate technologies.• Partner with Support and PO teams in identifying opportunities and building solutions to streamline Implementation and support phase.• Research and resolve production issues with ETL workflows.• Perform root cause analysis and identify and implement corrective and preventive measures.• Effectively manage multiple, competing prioritiesTechnical Skills:• Candidate must have good experience in data warehouse application design and development and needs to be highly skilled and competent using the Talend Open Studio.• Must have hands on experience in developing complex ETL preferably using Talend.• Intimate knowledge in combine/sort/aggregate/transform data.• Must have good knowledge of SQL and Oracle.• Must have knowledge of OOP languages, preferably Java.• Experience with any source control system.• Experience with the agile development methodology.• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.• Must be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently.• Experience in SQL/Oracle performance tuning is a plus.• Experience in Microstrategy are good to have.
• Bachelors in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience with excellent academics from reputed college• 5 to 8 years of DW/BI industry experience• Must have 2+ years of experience with Talend Studio.• Must have 3+ years of experience developing SQL (T/SQL and/or PL/SQL)
