Job Purpose:

Delivery Assurance, Maturity and Excellence and Engineering Excellence

  • Act as a catalyst to improve delivery process maturity & delivery quality (RCA & DPP). Instrumental in getting the improvement plans created, socialized and agreed with site leads & PMs (Critical Programs / Milestones / Deliveries)

  • Execution of Productivity program using BlueOptima, Baseline, Trending / Continuous Improvement and Reporting (includes estimation standardization)

  • Oversight, and governance of delivery related leadership initiatives

Engagement Governance & Reporting

  • Proactive governance and monitoring of (Critical Programs / Milestones / Deliveries)

  • Delivery governance / review for critical programs / milestones within ICG and CTO

  • Risk, Issues and Mitigation Management / Reporting

  • Health check for Key programs and projects

Productive Collaboration

  • Regular interaction with PMOs and Sr. Managers to share best practices, brainstorm on Delivery Excellence function

  • Promote healthy communication and collaboration across teams (Functional / Technical / General)

  • Promote technology collaboration (Testing, BigData, Cloud other niche techs)

  • Collaborate with other CDC for Productivity Improvement initiatives

  • Devise ways to foster collaboration across teams

Engineering Excellence

  • Build a culture of ‘Engineering Excellence’ and be the catalyst to bring in the change

  • Promote Engineering Excellence (Smart Ideas, Best Practices, Project Focus, etc.)

  • Promote Engineering Standards (Development and Operations standards / principles

Job Background/context:

This role will be part of CSC Pune Strategy and Governance team to manage and work on following deliverable.

Deliverables

  • Governance Reports

  • Technical blogs on Smart implementations, best practices etc.

  • Delivery excellence and Service Quality Reports

  • Synergies opportunities across the BUs in terms of technologies, Products, Tools, functional, platforms and solutions developed

  • Publish Delivery Governance Reports / Newsletters

  • Communication related to key delivery achievements, best practices, reuse, smart technology implementations and promote collaboration

  • Operational Data Analysis Reports

  • KPI and Delivery Dashboard

  • Communication on Project Management / Delivery / Technology best practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to delivery excellence and Service Quality initiatives at center level

  • Being on top of all projects/engagements/initiatives running across the center. This involves getting regular updates from the BU Teams/PMOs on the project progress

  • Performance Proactive Delivery Assurance by setting up required process and controls

  • Perform Health check for key programs and projects

  • Perform Delivery Maturity and Excellence functions

  • Productivity analysis and reporting

  • Help set up delivery processes

  • Help teams in RCA’s and Defect prevention plan

  • Delivery Quality Trending and reporting

  • Delivery Assurance Trending and reporting

  • Identification and reporting of delivery KPIs

  • Manage and Publish Center Level Delivery Governance Reports and other similar reports

  • Responsible for Delivery Governance and other technology related reports. This person would be responsible for collecting required information/data and reporting the same at Center level.

  • Responsible to blog/communication on smart implementations, technology excellence/showcase, reusable components and technology best practices at the site or outside of site within Citi

  • Creating innovative, clear and excellently designed PowerPoint presentations to provide update to various stakeholders

  • Responsible for and actively involved in center level, presentations and communication material

  • Delivery Reporting, Dashboard and Data Collection Automation and Scheduling. Finding optimized and innovative methods of Data Collection, Storage and usage

  • Build Strong Connect and Relationship with BU SMTs and BU PMO Leads

  • Facilitate and lead center level initiatives across areas (if any)

  • MIS and Data Analysis and publish analysis results at Center level. This could be Delivery Data or other relevant data

  • Participate in Citi level initiatives and represent center in technology network

  • Identify synergies across the BU in terms of technologies, Products, Tools, functional, platforms and solutions developed

  • Technical blogs on Smart implementations, best practices etc.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

Essential

  • Total experience of min 10 years and Relevant Technology Delivery experience and Project Management experience. Preferably from a IT/Technology background

  • Relevant experience in Delivery Excellence/ Delivery Assurance / Delivery Governance functions at center or organization level

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Knowledge of IT Delivery Process / SDLC, Software Quality, Reporting and Technology

  • Should be creative, innovative and have an ability to think out of the Box

  • Should be able to generate high quality, well-designed communication material (Presentations etc.)

  • Excellent organizational skills are mandatory. Should have a meticulous and thorough approach to work.
